Upper Mustang is mystique valley steeped in undisturbed Tibetan Buddhist culture with imposing treasury residing on Mustang's rocky highlands. The ancient monasteries, traditional villages, cave dwellings, barren lands, orchard & degraded shrublands there's something unique about Mustang. Lying in the trans-Himalayan region amid two 8000m peaks: Annapurna & Dhaulagiri cuts through the deepest valley in the world: Kali Gandaki River.
Trekking to Upper Mustang- a semi-independent Tibetan kingdom offers trekking through staggering landscapes, red cliffs, Chortens, deep ravines, buckwheat fields & snow-capped peaks.
The amusing tales of history, Hospitable peoples, small village settlements & the wide silence: only the wind, makes mustang a perfect wonderland of Nepal.
PHYSICAL FITNESS
Mustang trail is achievable for anyone who is at a normal fitness level. It's a moderate trek which involves some steep uphill & downhill portions that are challenging but your gradual steps could make it work. Expect to cover about 5-6 hours trekking per day.
