​Follow the lesser known side of fascinating Annapurna base camp trek as you hike & weave through Maple forests With Rhododendron blossoms before emerging abruptly into rugged mountain terrain.
Mardi Himal trek is considered as a hidden gem of Nepal after making its official debut in 2011 alongside other mainstream routes. Since then, Mardi Himal route is taken as a great alternative to Annapurna base camp that offers rewarding views of Fishtail (Machhapuchhre) Mountain.
Positioned virtually under dazzling Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal lies east of Annapurna Base Camp. Mardi Himal trek fulfills all the elements of classic trek including village settlements, farmlands, river streams featured with dramatic views of Snow Capped mountains.
Although Mardi Himal remains overlooked, this trek has able to come on the forefront by now as it has been getting a lot of attention.
There is a fair share of lodges & homestays in this trail where you can easily spend overnight with hygienic food to eat. No camping required!

Spring : March - May Fall : September - November
At these times, the weather is at its best, being hot but not uncomfortably so, and there’s usually minimal or no rain.
PHYSICAL FITNESS
Don't stress much for Mardi Himal trek, as it's achievable with your least effort. Stay at local lodges, spend some time to enjoy the beauty & walk at your own pace. There are some exhausting stairs up & down which could slow you down other than that, there's nothing stressful. A light warm-up exercises or jogging is advisable for this trek.
