From the wonders of Langtang Lirung, to the fascinating local culture Langtang valley, is everything you expect to be & more.

 

Being the third largest protected area in Nepal, Langtang is distinguished as one of the greatest elevation ranges within its boundaries among protected areas of Nepal. While Trekking to Langtang valley you can expect wide attitudinal change accounts for extremely varied vegetation which ranges from upper tropical forest to permanent snow ice.

 

Navigating through the Langtang national park- a Home of Flora & Fauna, Langtang opens a door for wildlife enthusiast & photographers with 1000 plants, 160 varieties of birds & 30 mammals species recorded in the park.  Further, if you are lucky enough, you may get to see other major wild species including Himalayan Thar, Musk deer, Wild dog, and Ghoral.

 

Langtang valley trek is a very good alternative to other mainstream treks like - Annapurna, Everest & it's quite peaceful too.  The Oaks, Bamboo, larch trees & wildflowers along the trail add the alpine flavor to lay claim to your heart.

 

The 2015 earthquake forced the locals to leave the valley but, meanwhile renovation is complete & the humble locals are welcoming every visitors with a smile.

 

The lost charm of the valley has returned & looks equally wondrous like before. or let's just say it resembles exactly as described by Bil timman's  “one of the world’s most beautiful valleys.”

The hidden valley of Nar Phu touches the legendary Annapurna circuit offering 360-degree views of mountains like Manaslu & Annapurna II. The Nar-Phu valley lies in Manang district often remembered as an exotic high altitude trekking route for few.

 

Trekking to Nar Phu valley is the perfect opportunity to relish the cultural & religious treasures of the region. Having a choice to stop over the remote villages, this valley needs to be explored with a trekking guide & a special permit.

 

The trek through Nar-phu valley combines enchanted forests of pine, oak & colourful rhododendron forests followed by high passes, glaciers & remote villages. Further up, you will be walking through narrow canyons, amazing rock formations,  gompas & share steps with yaks.

PHYSICAL FITNESS

 

The Langtang valley lies in close proximity to Kathmandu, so there's nothing to worry about. The maximum elevation you will cover is at Tserko Ri (5000m) & it's achievable. The trails are wider & there's no chance of altitude sickness. So it's fair to say even novice travellers can make it. However, It's always a wise decision to stretch yourself for more flexibility.
